*JOB DESCRIPTION*

An Automotive Tire Technician is a skilled member of the Tire Department who reports to the Store Manager.

*Duties and Responsibilities*

An Automotive Tire Technician is responsible for performing the following duties:

• Perform tire inspections.
• Mount/dismount and balance all types of tires on all types of rims.
• Uninstall and install rim and tire packages onto Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUVs.
• Repair tires when they are safely repairable.
• Rotate tires, check and adjust tire pressures, install and set tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Other duties, as assigned

The regular hours in the Tire Department are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The Tire Department is also staffed seasonally on Saturdays from 9:00am - 2:00pm providing additional paid hours.

*REQUIREMENTS*

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Ontario Driver?s License and a satisfactory Driver?s Abstract
• Experience in the automotive tire industry an asset
• Physically fit and able to lift/carry 50lbs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

An Automotive Tire Technician is compensated based on his/her skill and experience. The hourly rate of pay starts at $18.00 and continues to $24.00. We are committed to our employees and provide them with the opportunity to grow their career and their earnings.

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
