Pastry Cook

Some of the responsibilities: Preparation of a wide variety of pastry items following traditional and modern recipes. Creation of new and exciting desserts for the renewal of our menus and to attract customer interest. Decoration of sweets, using different types of icing, toppings, etc., to ensure a beautiful and impressive appearance. Monitoring stocks of basic ingredients, such as flour, sugar, etc., and placing appropriate orders within the budget. Quality control of ingredients, the condition of equipment, and the appliances used in preparation. Maintaining a clean and organized station and compliance with health and safety standards. Requirements It would be useful to have: Graduate of a culinary/pastry school. At least 2 years of experience in à la carte restaurants or 5* hotels. Knowledge and adherence to hygiene and safety procedures. Good knowledge of the English language.
