We are looking for a General Accountant Lead & Analyst to join the General Ledger (GL) team. This role is much more than a senior accountant position: you will cover the entirety of current activity flows (AP, AR, fixed assets cycles), with a strong degree of cross-functional reporting during closing, while maintaining a critical management control eye on operations. You will be both the guarantor of account quality, the driver of the team's AI transformation, and a business partner for the Finance and operational departments.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Driving all current accounting cycles (suppliers, customers, fixed assets, expenses) and guaranteeing their reliability across the group, by systematically integrating an analytical review of a management control type (Actual vs. Budget/N-1, anomaly detection, anticipation of P&L impacts)

• Orchestrating end-to-end closing processes in a "control tower" posture: inter-team coordination, cross-functional reporting, analytical cost allocation, internal control, and SOX documentation integrated into daily tasks

• Identifying and driving digital transformation and AI projects (Dust agents, R2R solutions, RPA) and building self-service deliverables (self-service dashboards, dynamic KPIs) to reduce ad hoc requests

• Standardizing group accounting practices and contributing to the "accounting integration kit" to support internationalization

• Embodying the business partner posture by translating accounting issues into business language and ensuring active regulatory monitoring

EXPECTED QUALITIES FOR THIS POSITION

You could be the next member of our team if you:

• Have higher education in Accounting/Finance (DSCG, Master CCA, Grande École, DEC in progress or obtained)

• Have 8 to 10 years of experience in general accounting and/or audit, including at least 3 years in a management or technical leadership position

• Have significant experience in Big 4 (Manager/Senior Manager) and/or in a fast-growing international company

• Master IFRS standards (including IFRS 16, 15) and French GAAP, and have extensive experience in SOX environments

• Demonstrate a strong analytical mind and the ability to integrate a management control approach into your accounting practice

• Are comfortable with modern ERPs and master Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level

• Speak English fluently (C1/C2) — daily exchanges with international teams

• Are a natural leader, capable of uniting, mentoring, and driving change

It would be fantastic if you also had:

• Experience in the Tech/SaaS sector and/or in a multi-country environment

• Knowledge of SAP and/or Coupa

• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and close management solutions

• Demonstrated experience with AI tools applied to accounting (AI agents, RPA, intelligent OCR, predictive models) or a strong appetite for these topics

• An understanding of consolidation mechanisms and corporate finance issues

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• First interview with the recruitment team (30 min)

• Operational interview with the Accounting Director (1h)

• Technical case study (1h)

• Final interview with a member of the Finance leadership (45 min)

• At least one reference check
