DMS LOG | Ocean Export Analyst | Operations & Customer Care

DMS Logistics is a Brazilian multinational freight forwarding company, with 40 years of experience in foreign trade and specializing in freight forwarder. Here you will work in the Operations sector, which is responsible for ensuring the logistical design of the shipment, closely monitoring collection, import, and export operations, as well as documentary verification in each country.

Responsibilities and assignments

Main challenges:

• Coordination of export shipments from Brazil to other countries and cabotage of general, refrigerated, IMO, and project cargo;
• Customer service;
• Requesting and Confirming Booking with Armadores/Co-Loaders;
• Coordination of cargo collection at origin through direct contact with carriers and customers (Shipper);
• Scheduling and monitoring container loading with suppliers;
• Preparation and Sending of Shipping Instructions (SI) to Armadores/Co-Loaders;
• Control, verification, and documentary checking of cargo;
• Issuance of HBL - Daily follow-up of shipments;
• Updating proprietary system (DMSYS);
• Financial closing of the process.

Requirements and qualifications

Prerequisites:

• Experience with maritime export shipment coordination and additional knowledge of cabotage shipments;
• Experience in IMO, REEFER, and OOG cargo shipments;
• Organization and commitment to meeting deadlines on time;
• High analytical profile;
• Completed or ongoing Higher Education;
• Advanced English;
• Intermediate Spanish.
