DMS LOG | Asia Intelligence Specialist | Ocean/Air Product

DMS Logistics is a Brazilian multinational freight forwarding company, with over 30 years of experience in foreign trade and specializing in freight forwarding. Here you will work in the Product sector, acting as the focal point for reading trends, supply and demand dynamics, and the competitive landscape in Asia, in addition to conducting macro negotiations with partners and agents, and developing, together with the local agent network, new services and commercial opportunities for the company.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Monitor and analyze international air and ocean transport market trends in Asia (except India), including capacity, freight, seasonality, routes, and new players.• Consolidate and disseminate market intelligence to the Air and Ocean Product areas, supporting pricing, capacity, and commercial positioning decisions.• Conduct macro negotiations with partners, shipping lines, airlines, and agents in Asia, including rates, allocations, and service levels.• Develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with the network of partner agents in the region, acting as the main interlocutor.• Identify, together with agents, opportunities for new services, routes, and logistical solutions for the region.• Monitor macroeconomic, geopolitical, regulatory, and infrastructure factors that may impact logistics chains in Asia.• Prepare periodic reports, analyses, and presentations on market trends and the performance of partners in the region.• Represent the company in meetings, events, and commercial missions with Asian partners and agents.• Act in an integrated manner with the Pricing, Commercial, Operations, and Customer Service areas to ensure competitiveness and the quality of the services offered.

Requirements and qualifications Higher education completed; Advanced English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese desirable; Previous experience residing with partners from Asia; Experience with BI tools and freight market monitoring tools (freight indexes, TMS, etc.).

Knowledge of Incoterms, foreign trade documentation, and customs regulations.
