DMS LOG | Air Freight Operations Analyst | Operations (Europe)

DMS Logistics is a Brazilian multinational freight forwarding company, with over 30 years of experience in foreign trade and specializing in freight forwarding. Here you will work in the Operations sector, which is responsible for ensuring the logistical design of the shipment, closely monitoring cargo collection, import, and export operations, as well as documentary verification in each country.

Responsibilities and assignments

Main challenges:

• Manage direct contact with agents at origin to request, verify, and send documents essential to the logistical process (such as invoice, packing list, bill of lading, among others);
• Monitor and coordinate international shipments, ensuring alignment with origin agents;
• Perform the entry and control of operational costs related to import processes;
• Act as an interface with agents at origin to verify arrivals, release, and issuance of warehouse receipts, ensuring compliance with packaging data, weight, and integrity of the goods;
• Issue and/or verify mandatory shipment documents and other specific documents required according to the country of origin and destination;
• Ensure the update and accuracy of information in internal systems, supporting the team in the traceability and predictability of operations;
• Work in close collaboration with the Customer Care department to ensure operational excellence and compliance with agreed SLAs;
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes, supporting efficiency initiatives and the reduction of operational failures.

Requirements and qualifications

Prerequisites:

• Completed or ongoing Higher Education;
• Intermediate to Advanced English - will be tested;
• French, Spanish, and German - desirable;
• Experience with coordination of Air Export and Import shipments;
• Experience with international freight forwarding.
