DMS LOG | Air Freight Operations Analyst | Inland (USA)

DMS Logistics is a Brazilian multinational freight forwarding company with over 30 years of market experience. Here you will work in the Operations sector, which is responsible for ensuring the logistical design of the shipment, closely monitoring cargo collection, import, and export operations, as well as documentary verification in each country.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Coordination of collections and deliveries: Plan, schedule, and monitor collections with carriers, suppliers, and warehouses, ensuring compliance with agreed deadlines for air shipments;
• Land transport management: Monitor national road transport to the origin air terminal (or from the airport, in imports), ensuring cargo integrity and route traceability;
• Documentary validation: Check and validate logistical and fiscal documents (invoice, packing list, SLI, DGD, BOL, among others), ensuring compliance with export/import regulations and the requirements of freight forwarders and airlines;
• Cost control: Analyze and validate land transport, storage, and related service costs, ensuring the correct entry and approval of expenses. Support negotiation with suppliers when necessary;
• Communication and stakeholder interface: Act as the point of contact between customers, carriers, freight forwarders, airlines, and internal teams (commercial, operations, and finance), ensuring a continuous flow of information;
• Performance and indicator management: Monitor KPIs for deadlines, cost, and operational quality, identifying opportunities for improvement in the transport network and the efficiency of the logistical process;
• Compliance and security: Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory, and security standards applicable to land and air transport, maintaining updated and auditable records.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed Higher Education in Foreign Trade, International Relations, or related areas;
• Advanced English - will be tested;
• Previous experience in air operations and Inland transport in the United States;
• Knowledge of import processes;
• Knowledge of incoterms;
• Experience in freight forwarding;
• Notions of IATA and ANAC regulations.
