HSE Section Manager
Develop the project HSE plan in line with company policy and obtain approval from the project consultant.
Prepare risk assessments for all site activities in coordination with the relevant project managers.
Develop and implement emergency response, fire prevention, and critical lifting plans.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, applicable laws, regulations, and project requirements.
Prepare purchase requisitions and ensure the availability of all required safety tools and equipment.
Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for all site personnel, while maintaining training records.
Review and approve work permits for all execution activities.
Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding, light and heavy equipment, and ensure that unsafe equipment is removed from service.
Investigate incidents and injuries, issue corrective and preventive actions, and provide safe alternatives for execution activities.
Issue weekly and monthly HSE reports, manage internal and consultant-issued non-conformities, and follow up on their closure.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must.
Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in construction or site-based environments.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental regulations, and HSE compliance standards.
Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation.
NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
