Non-destructive testing technician (M/F)

Job Description:

We are recruiting for our client, specializing in boilermaking and industrial piping, a control inspection technician.

Missions Reporting to the head of the control/inspection department, within a team of 7 people, you are in charge of the quality and regulatory monitoring of workshop/site welding operations.

• Preparation of quality files according to contractual, regulatory, and normative requirements (DESP)
• Ensuring the monitoring of documents by our workshop teams
• Organization, planning, and monitoring of non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Verification of the traceability of materials and assemblies

35 hours per week

Remuneration according to profile: between €16.00 and €19.23 gross/hour

Travel allowance Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM // Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Profile Description With technical training in boilermaking, welding, or equivalent, you hold an IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWS (International Welding Specialist) qualification. You are rigorous, autonomous, and also enjoy teamwork.Good knowledge of the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (DESP 2014/68/EU).Mastery of the requirements of the EN ISO 12952 standard or experience on similar projects.Knowledge of welding processes (141, 111, 135, etc.) and their application in the field.Valid COFREND certifications (PT, MT, UT) are an appreciated plus.***A good command of English is required, German is a plus.
