Your tasks

About the Role The Regional Market Access Manager is a pivotal driver of DKSH Healthcare's growth across Asia Pacific, building a scalable access framework that connects innovative therapies to patients across diverse markets. By embedding pricing, reimbursement, and evidence strategies into both business development evaluations and portfolio decisions, this role directly shapes patient reach and commercial outcomes for DKSH and its clients.

What You Will Deliver

  • Develop and maintain a regional market access framework covering opportunity assessment, access pathway mapping, evidence requirements, reimbursement strategy, submission planning, and post-listing optimization, ensuring consistent adoption by business development and country teams.
  • Assess the market access attractiveness of future assets, including reimbursement feasibility, addressable patient segments, access timelines, pricing and funding considerations, and potential revenue scenarios, providing clear input into asset screening, due diligence, and business cases.
  • Conduct structured reviews of the existing DKSH Healthcare portfolio to identify where reimbursement, formulary inclusion, tender access, patient support, or other access interventions could expand patient reach and unlock growth, prioritizing opportunities based on unmet need, patient impact, strategic relevance, and commercial value.
  • Coordinate with country teams on market access plans for new product launches, encompassing payer landscape assessment, value proposition development, evidence planning, submission requirements, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Lead regional pricing and reimbursement strategy for priority assets, including price corridor considerations, international reference pricing exposure, launch sequencing, price-volume scenarios, and governance of country pricing recommendations.
  • Design and evaluate innovative access and contracting models, including managed-entry agreements, outcomes-based arrangements, risk-sharing approaches, indication-based access, installment models, and patient affordability solutions, subject to local feasibility and compliance requirements.
  • Support the preparation and quality review of reimbursement and formulary submissions, ensuring clinical, economic, and budget-impact evidence is accurate, compelling, and appropriate for local requirements.
  • Develop payer, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and stakeholder engagement strategies based on stakeholder mapping, segmentation, decision drivers, and evidence needs, supporting country teams in preparing for value discussions and negotiations.
  • Partner with Medical and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) colleagues to shape integrated evidence-generation plans, including real-world evidence, epidemiology, burden-of-disease, comparative effectiveness, patient-reported outcomes, and local health-economic analyses.
  • Adapt global or partner value dossiers, economic models, and payer materials for local relevance, ensuring assumptions, comparators, treatment pathways, and budget impacts reflect country requirements.
  • Build and maintain a regional view of payer, reimbursement, and policy developments, translating relevant changes into clear implications for DKSH portfolios and partner opportunities.
  • Act as a market access subject-matter partner for pharmaceutical clients and alliance partners, contributing to joint access plans, governance forums, business reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Define post-listing optimization plans, including formulary expansion, restriction removal, tender participation, pathway inclusion, evidence commitments, contract performance, and access sustainability.
  • Set the vision, priorities, and roadmap for scalable regional market access capability, chairing regional access reviews to ensure timely decisions, escalation of critical risks, and alignment on investment and resources.
  • Build market access capability within country teams through coaching, knowledge sharing, playbooks, and communities of practice, creating a strong regional network of practitioners and external experts to accelerate knowledge transfer across markets.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
