Amare Health is currently recruiting for an experienced First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) to join an NHS Trust in London .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and autonomous physiotherapist looking to work within a forward-thinking primary care environment, with excellent rates available .

The Role

As a First Contact Physiotherapist, you will work as an autonomous clinician within a primary care setting, assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing expert clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with MSK presentations.
• Acting as a first point of contact for patients with musculoskeletal problems.
• Developing and implementing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Providing self-management advice, education and exercise programmes.
• Identifying red flags and appropriately referring patients to other healthcare professionals and services where required.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, practice staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring high standards of clinical governance.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist with relevant experience in MSK and First Contact Physiotherapy.

You will ideally have:

• HCPC registration.
• Relevant UK physiotherapy experience.
• Strong MSK clinical assessment and treatment experience.
• Previous First Contact Physiotherapy / primary care experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding.
