Python Developer with Azure

Your tasks

• Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with Microsoft Azure (priority) to design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions (experience with GCP is acceptable as an alternative)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in Python backend development (senior level)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (priority) — designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions
• Experience with GCP is acceptable as an alternative
• Proven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows
• Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Practical experience working with GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, e2e) and code quality tools
• Version control proficiency (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud/backend environments
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams
• Communicate effectively in English

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Azure Service Bus) is a plus
