Our customer is an internationally leading company in the defense and vehicle industry and develops innovative system solutions for highly complex military and security-relevant applications. To support the purchasing team, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer Vehicle Components & Drive Systems (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment at the earliest possible date. In this responsible position, you will take over the strategic purchasing of sophisticated vehicle components and drive systems, further develop supplier relationships, and actively shape the procurement strategy of your area of responsibility. This position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.

Strategic Buyer Vehicle Components (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the procurement

of complex and technically sophisticated assemblies as well as individual parts in the area of Vehicle Components & Drive Systems

• You analyze national and

international procurement markets and identify suitable suppliers

• You request quotations, perform

price and cost analyses, and evaluate them from economic and technical perspectives

• You develop and implement

purchasing strategies for your area of responsibility

• You independently conduct contract

and price negotiations with national and international suppliers

• You accompany the entire

order processing and ensure timely supply

• You continuously develop

supplier management and evaluate suppliers with regard to quality, cost, and performance

• You work closely with the

specialist departments of Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Project Management

Your qualifications:

• You have a successfully

completed vocational training or a corresponding degree

• You bring several years of experience

in strategic purchasing, ideally in a technical or industrial environment

• You have experience in

international procurement and in working with global suppliers

• You work independently,

self-reliantly, and goal-oriented

• You are characterized by

negotiation skills as well as a strong economic understanding

• You possess a structured

way of working and maintain an overview even in complex projects

• You convince through teamwork,

resilience, and strong communication skills

• You have good

English skills in speaking and writing

• Ideally, you bring experience

in the procurement of technical components or drive systems

• You will receive a permanent

employment contract

• You work a

collective agreement-based 35-hour week
