As part of the dedicated team in the ocean freight sector, you will independently take on tasks related to the processing of international transports. In doing so, you will be in close exchange with customers, shipping companies, and partners worldwide. This position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.
Employee (m/f/d) Ocean Freight - hybrid working (Remote & On-site)
Your tasks:
Organization and monitoring of ocean freight transports in import and/or export
Creation and checking of shipping and customs documents (e.g., B/L, AWB, customs declarations)
Communication with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and international business partners
Entry and maintenance of shipment data in our transport management system
Processing of customer inquiries and complaints
Your qualifications:
Completed commercial training, ideally in the field of freight forwarding and logistics services
Initial professional experience in ocean freight desirable
Good English skills in speaking and writing
Confident handling of MS Office and ideally with freight forwarding software
Teamwork skills, organizational talent, and a structured way of working
