For a renowned company from the maritime technology industry, we are looking for you as a Manager Product Lifecycle & Obsolescence (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment. In this responsible position, you will take on a central role in the lifecycle management of technical products and components. You will ensure that materials, assemblies, and systems remain available in the long term and support the early identification and minimization of risks caused by technological changes. With your analytical way of working, your technical understanding, and your strategic vision, you will contribute significantly to ensuring the operational and future viability of complex products. The present position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.

Your tasks:
- You will take over the operational obsolescence management for a diverse product portfolio
- You will analyze the lifecycle of components and identify potential supply and availability risks at an early stage
- You will evaluate components regarding their obsolescence risk and develop suitable countermeasures
- You will regularly prepare status reports and recommendations for action for projects and specialist departments
- You will analyze and maintain technical master and product data
- You will coordinate and control obsolescence processes involving relevant internal interfaces
- You will evaluate customer requirements and develop project-specific concepts and action plans
- You will accompany internal as well as external project meetings as a competent contact person regarding the topic of obsolescence management
- You will support the development and implementation of long-term strategies to ensure product availability
Your qualifications:
- You have a completed degree in business, comparable training, or several years of professional experience in the field of obsolescence management
- You bring experience in dealing with complex technical products, components, or systems
- You possess strong analytical thinking skills and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- You work independently, responsibly, and with high initiative
- You communicate confidently with different specialist departments and convince through your teamwork skills
- You have very good knowledge of common MS-Office applications
- Ideally, you have experience in dealing with ERP or database systems, for example SAP
- Knowledge in the field of logistics, spare parts management, or technical product lifecycles is an advantage
- You have good English skills in speaking and writing
Occasional business trips are not a problem for you
