Global Project Manager - Supply Chain (m/f/d) (Project Leader / Project Manager)
With one of our well-known customers in the Böblingen area, an internationally active company in the field of Supply Chain and production, an interesting perspective is arising within the framework of temporary employment with the option of permanent employment. As a Global Project Manager – Supply Chain, you will manage international transformation projects along the entire supply chain. The present position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.
Global Project Manager - Supply Chain (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Planning, controlling, and implementing global transformation projects in the Supply Chain environment
- Ensuring goal achievement regarding time, budget, and quality
- Creation of Project Charter and Business Case (incl. ROI)
- Establishment of project organization and governance structures
- Definition of the Target Operating Model
- Evaluation, selection, and implementation of tools / solutions
- Planning and implementation of communication and change management measures
- Management of the stabilization phase as well as validation of project results (Sign-off)
- Planning and controlling of project resources and budgets
- Continuous monitoring of progress, risks, and dependencies
- Collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure timely implementation
- Management of all project phases incl. milestones and deliverables
- Regular coordination and reporting to stakeholders
- International cooperation
- Travel activity approx. 10–20 %
Your qualifications:
- Degree in BWL, Supply Chain, Maschinenbau, or comparable
- Several years of experience in project management (agile & waterfall)
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
- Certifications (e.g., Prince2, Scrum Master) are an advantage
- Experience in transformation projects
- Sound experience in the Supply Chain environment (e.g., Procurement, Sourcing, S&OP, After Sales)
- Very good planning and organizational skills
- Proven experience in Change Management
- Experience in stakeholder, risk, and dependency management
- Proficient use of M365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Very good English skills, German/Japanese an advantage
- Analytical and structured way of working
- Ability to understand technical details and connect them with business stakeholders
- Teamwork skills as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in an international environment
