We are looking for a Global Project Manager – IT who will actively drive digital transformation and successfully manage international IT projects. This position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.

Global Project Manager - IT (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Planning and controlling global transformation projects (IT / digitalization)
  • Ensuring goal achievement (time, budget, quality)
  • Creation of Project Charter & Business Case (ROI, added value)
  • Establishment of project organization & governance structures
  • Definition of the Target Operating Model
  • Selection, evaluation, and introduction of tools / IT solutions
  • Planning and implementation of communication & change management measures
  • Controlling the stabilization phase & success control (sign-off)
  • Resource planning and budget responsibility
  • Continuous monitoring of progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Close cooperation with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Coordination with specialist departments and IT to implement end-to-end solutions
  • Regular communication to stakeholders (reporting)
  • International project work including travel (10–20 %)

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in BWL, Supply Chain, or comparable
  • Several years of experience in project management (agile & waterfall)
  • Knowledge of methods & tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
  • Project management certifications (e.g., Prince2, Scrum) are an advantage
  • Experience in transformation projects
  • Ability to mediate between specialist departments and IT
  • Very good planning and organizational skills
  • Sound experience in Change Management
  • Experience in stakeholder, risk, and dependency management
  • Proficient use of M365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Very good English skills, German/Japanese an advantage
  • Analytical, structured, and independent way of working
  • Ability to understand both technical details and work with business stakeholders
  • Teamwork skills and leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Experience in an international working environment
  • Competence in the area of Diversity & Inclusion
