On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment, who analyzes international procurement markets, conducts negotiations, and actively helps shape the purchasing strategy. Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials along the procurement and logistics chain
• Conducting price, contract, and framework agreement negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Selection, qualification, and regular evaluation of suppliers
• Monitoring international procurement markets as well as deriving suitable measures in risk management
• Strategic sourcing for new products, projects, and requirements
• Maintenance and optimization of procurement-relevant master data in the system
• Close cooperation with production, development, quality, and logistics

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed commercial training, business administration studies, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the procurement of a manufacturing company
• Knowledge in the procurement of manufacturing materials, ideally plastics, electronics, or technical components
• Negotiation skills and a confident appearance when dealing with business partners
• Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking
• Proficient use of MS Office as well as SAP ERP
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Initiative, sense of responsibility, and a team-oriented way of working
