This position is to be filled through direct placement / as part of recruitment services.

Head of Strategic Procurement (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Leadership and further development of the procurement team
• Management of technical and strategic procurement
• Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
• Conducting price, contract, and condition negotiations
• Ensuring costs, quality, and delivery capability
• Optimization of procurement processes and purchasing strategies
• Close cooperation with the technical specialist departments

Your qualifications:

• Technical degree, further training as a technician (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in technical/strategic procurement, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering
• Leadership experience and strong technical understanding
• Negotiation skills and a confident appearance
• Experience with ERP-Systemen
• Very good English skills
• Structured and independent way of working
