Business Development Manager (m/f/d) (Business Development Manager/in)

Do you know the semiconductor industry, understand technological developments, and can derive new business potentials from them?

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced personality within the scope of recruitment to strategically develop the European semiconductor market and translate technical innovations into sustainable growth. This position is to be filled as part of direct placement / within the framework of recruitment.

Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Analysis of market, technology, and customer trends within the European semiconductor industry
• Identification of new business fields and development of suitable market entry strategies
• Building and developing a qualified opportunity pipeline
• Development of business cases and customer-specific value propositions
• Initiation and support of workshops, Proof-of-Concepts, and development projects
• Technology scouting regarding wafer cleaning, Wet Processing, Advanced Packaging, and other future technologies
• Building strategic relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, R&D organizations, equipment, and material providers
• Close cooperation with Engineering, Technology, Sales, and Management
• Co-shaping the European growth and technology strategy

Your qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, chemistry, materials science, physics, or comparable
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience in Business Development, market development, customer care, or technology development
• Sound understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technological trends
• Ideally know-how in areas such as Wafer Cleaning, Wet Processing, Advanced Packaging, semiconductor chemicals, or water treatment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management competence
• Fluent Business English
• Willingness to travel within Europe and driving license class B
• Strategic key position with a Europe-wide scope of influence
