Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the organisation's Offshore Shipbroking business and team in Singapore. Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with shipowners, vessel operators, charterers, offshore contractors and other key industry stakeholders. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the Offshore desk and strengthen market presence. Provide commercial and strategic direction on market opportunities, vessel requirements, fixtures, negotiations and client engagement. Lead and participate in commercial negotiations, ensuring sound and mutually beneficial outcomes for clients and the organisation. Monitor and analyse offshore market developments, including vessel supply and demand, fleet movements, market rates, project activity and emerging opportunities. Provide clients and internal stakeholders with relevant market intelligence, insights and commercial recommendations. Work closely with international broking and offshore teams to maximise cross-border opportunities, client coverage and business development initiatives. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of clients, projects and commercial opportunities. Mentor and develop team members while establishing a collaborative, commercially focused and high-performing team environment. Represent the organisation at industry conferences, client meetings, networking events and other relevant maritime and offshore forums. Ensure all business activities are conducted in line with the organisation's internal policies, procedures and compliance requirements. Candidate Profile We are looking for an established Offshore Shipbroker with a strong commercial track record, extensive industry relationships and the ability to lead and grow an offshore broking business. The ideal candidate will bring: Significant experience in Offshore Shipbroking, with strong knowledge of the offshore vessel market. A proven track record in business development, client acquisition, relationship management and broking. An established network across shipowners, operators, charterers, offshore contractors and other industry participants. Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and deal-making skills. The ability to identify market opportunities, develop commercial strategies and convert opportunities into revenue. Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, with the ability to build, mentor and develop a successful team. Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. A strong understanding of offshore market dynamics and the ability to provide commercially relevant market insights. The ability to work effectively across international offices, multicultural teams and diverse stakeholder groups. High levels of integrity, professionalism and sound commercial judgement. A proactive and entrepreneurial approach to developing the business and expanding the organisation's market presence.
