Role Overview We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the daily coordination of marine operations and purchasing activities. The successful candidate will manage operational requirements, source equipment and services, process purchase orders and coordinate deliveries to vessels and customers. This position is suitable for an organised and service-oriented professional with experience in marine operations, procurement, ship supplies or logistics. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day marine operational activities and respond promptly to vessel and customer requirements.

Source marine equipment, spare parts, stores and services from approved suppliers.

Obtain and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, availability and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders and ensure the necessary approvals are obtained.

Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, vessels, agents, logistics providers and other stakeholders.

Monitor order status and ensure goods and services are delivered within the required timeframe.

Verify delivery orders, invoices and supporting documents against purchase orders.

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and operational records.

Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment planning.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and service providers.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery arrangements where required.

Resolve delivery delays, supply discrepancies and other operational issues.

Support vendor evaluation and maintain an updated supplier database.

Assist with cost monitoring and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.

Ensure purchasing and operational activities comply with company procedures and safety requirements.

Provide administrative and coordination support to the operations team as required.

Requirements Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline.

2 to 4 years of experience in marine operations, purchasing, procurement, ship supplies or logistics.

Previous experience sourcing marine equipment, spare parts or vessel supplies would be advantageous.

Good understanding of purchasing processes, quotations, purchase orders and delivery coordination.

Able to manage multiple orders and operational requirements within tight timelines.

Strong negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Able to work independently and respond to urgent operational requirements when necessary.
