Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily collection and delivery of goods to customers, warehouses, suppliers and designated locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods according to assigned delivery schedules and routes.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are properly handled and secured during transportation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure the assigned vehicle is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Adhere to Singapore road traffic regulations, workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Report any vehicle defects, delivery discrepancies, damages or operational issues promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, sorting, inventory checks and stock arrangement when required.
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence, depending on vehicle requirements.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, delivery or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading, unloading and movement of goods.
- Basic knowledge of delivery documentation and warehouse procedures.
- Able to work independently and manage assigned delivery schedules efficiently.
- Good communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Willing to work overtime or on weekends when operationally required.
- Candidates with experience operating vans, lorries or other commercial vehicles will have an advantage.
