AEROSTRUCTURE ENGINEER (M/F)

Integrated into the aerostructure team, you will contribute to the design, qualification, and production setup of mechanical parts for the DIODON range (drones, GCS, platforms, etc.). Directly reporting to the Design Office Manager, you will actively participate in the development of new products within a stimulating and multidisciplinary technical environment. In this capacity, your main missions will be as follows:

• Design new mechanical parts composing DIODON solutions (plastic, composite, metallic, and flexible parts) using Siemens NX / Fusion 360 software
• Simulate structural strength with Simcenter or CFD with FloEFD

• Prototype previously designed parts using various processes: 3D printing, resin, laser cutting, ..
• Integrate and validate the use of new manufacturing methods (composites, metallurgy) for the mass production of lightweight and waterproof drones

• Carry out design monitoring through to the production setup of designed parts with the help of the production manager and the testing manager, in relation with suppliers
• Participate in the design of testing and qualification means

• Participate in the preparation of production and user documents (manufacturing processes, quality controls, maintenance and user manuals)
• Participate in technological monitoring

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Mechanical engineer or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of robotics or equivalent

• Knowledge of additive manufacturing is a plus
• A drone remote pilot certificate is a plus

• Good technical English
