General Duties:
The position concerns project management regarding the installation of photovoltaic stations, medium voltage network constructions, and industrial installations.
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager, technical departments, crews, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers, contributing to the smooth and timely implementation of projects.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager in the design, scheduling, and monitoring of projects.
- Monitoring the progress of works at the construction site and updating the Project Manager on progress and any deviations.
- Supporting the preparation of schedules and monitoring their adherence.
- Monitoring technical studies, drawings, technical specifications, and other technical documentation.
- Supporting the monitoring of project budgets, quantities, and costs.
- Collecting and organizing data for the preparation of progress reports and updates to management.
- Communication and coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, and partners for the timely implementation of works.
- Monitoring orders, deliveries of materials and equipment, and providing updates on any delays.
- Supporting the monitoring of contractual obligations of customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Participating in project meetings and drafting minutes, pending items, and actions to be implemented.
- Communicating with customers and partners to monitor and resolve issues concerning the construction progress of projects.
- Supporting the management of technical issues and monitoring their resolution in cooperation with the relevant departments.
- Organizing and maintaining files, technical documents, correspondence, and other project documentation.
- Collaborating with the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations departments to coordinate required actions.
- Participating in site visits and inspections, where required.
Required Qualifications:
- University/Technical Institute degree.
- Good knowledge of electrical installations; experience in RES projects, photovoltaic stations, or medium voltage networks is desirable.
- Previous experience in a technical or construction environment will be considered an additional qualification.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCad.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and monitor multiple tasks.
- Good communication and cooperation with technical teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.
- Ability to work in a construction site environment and travel, where required.
- Driver's license.
