Customs Clearance Supervisor

Your tasks

• Manage and oversee import and export customs clearance operations, ensuring full compliance with Thai Customs regulations and related government requirements.
• Review and verify customs declarations, shipping documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, HS Codes (Tariff Classification), customs values, and all supporting documents before customs submission.
• Handle customs clearance procedures for both import and export shipments.
• Coordinate and communicate with Thai Customs Department, BOI, shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, transport providers, and other relevant government authorities.
• Process and obtain permits/licenses from government agencies, including but not limited to:

• Prepare and process certificates of origin and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documents

(Form D, Form E, and other applicable forms).

• Ensure correct tariff classification (HS Code), customs valuation, and duty calculation.
• Resolve customs issues, inspections, customs audits, and shipment clearance problems effectively.
• Lead, coach, and supervise the Customs Clearance team to ensure operational excellence and service quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, customs officers, and government agencies.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company SOPs and customs regulations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Customs, or related fields.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Customs Clearance, Import & Export, Freight Forwarding, or International Logistics.
3. Strong knowledge of:Thai Customs Regulations, Import & Export Procedures, HS Code Classification, Customs Clearance Process, Free Trade Agreements
4. Experienced in preparing and reviewing customs declarations, import/export entries, certificates of origin, and related documentation.
5. trong ability to solve customs-related issues and coordinate with government officers.
6. Good command of English is preferred.
7. Licensed Customs Specialist or Customs Broker experience is highly preferred
8. Experience handling BOI projects, Free Zone, Bonded Warehouse, and special customs privileges
