The role: The position is located in Montreal, Downtown, within an Infra team of 10 people spread between France, Canada, and Spain. You will work in an international context (Europe, NorAm, EMA) with the automated management of our infrastructure consisting of more than 350 assets hosted on our cloud providers.
Missions: The main mission consists of managing, automating, and evolving the development, staging, and production infrastructure:
Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of technical architectures.
Interact with AI tools to optimize support, performance analysis, and IAC optimization.
Develop playbooks/scripts to automate operations.
Automate the deployment and provisioning of environments.
Provide application technical support to clients and internal teams (database backup/restoration, installation of the application and its modules, etc.).
Optimize environment architecture and propose new approaches.
Coordinate technical changes with hosting providers present on different continents.
Co-design technical solutions in collaboration with the development team.
Diagnose and resolve production incidents, proposing long-term solutions.
Ensure continuous monitoring of technologies and security.
Document procedures and operational best practices.
Profile sought: You have at least 5 years of experience as a DevOps administrator.
You have experience as a software developer.
You have a sense of service, you are pedagogical, and user-experience oriented in your written and oral communication.
You know how to take responsibility and lead projects.
You are comfortable in English and are able to have a fluid conversation with your interlocutors.
Technical knowledge: Orchestrator: Kubernetes / docker (must have)
Linux system management (Debian environments used) (must have)
Automation: Terraform, Helm
APM: Datadog or equivalent (must have)
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or equivalent is a plus (must have)
