Your new job
As a receptionist/telefonist, you are the first point of contact for our hospital. On the phone and at the desk, you ensure that patients, visitors, and colleagues feel welcome and are helped quickly.
Telephony is a major part of your work, approximately three-quarters of a shift. At the reception, you receive visitors and help them further. You are friendly and helpful, but also know when to act efficiently and decisively.
A good foundation in English is important, as you regularly speak with foreign visitors. You also perform administrative tasks, such as checking data, payments, and other practical matters.
You alert colleagues and doctors in emergency situations and act decisively during resuscitation calls and other calamities.
"The best part of my work? That I am the first point of contact at the desk or on the phone. I help people on their way, offer a listening ear, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. Then a varied and meaningful role awaits you here, in the very heart of the hospital," says Lia, receptionist/ telefonist.
