Ihre Aufgaben
Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
Product presentations and technical support for sales processes
Ihr Profil
A Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field
Experience in power system transient analysis and a solid understanding of power system dynamics
Hands-on experience with PowerFactory or other established EMT simulation tools
Programming or scripting skills , preferably in Python; experience with other scripting languages is an advantage
Experience with DSL and/or Modelica modelling is beneficial
A strong interest in broadening your expertise and exploring new technical fields
Excellent communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to interact confidently with clients and project team members
Willingness to travel for customer projects and professional engagements
