We have received a unique assignment from a modern hospital in Iceland, which is seeking experienced medical specialists in cardiology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine for flexible locum positions – both short and long-term assignments.

About the position

As a medical specialist at our partner hospital in Iceland, you will become part of an interdisciplinary team with a high professional standard. The tasks will be adapted to your specialization and experience, and may include, among others:

Common tasks Investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients Interdisciplinary collaboration with other medical specialists and healthcare teams Follow-up of patients in inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and potentially the emergency department Contributing to professional development, quality assurance, and supervision/training of LIS-doctors and other healthcare personnel Specialty-specific tasks Cardiology: Echocardiography, EKG, stress tests, holter-monitoring, and participation in cardiac procedures Gastroenterology: Endoscopic examinations such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and potentially ERCP Internal medicine: Investigation and treatment of broad and complex internal medicine issues We offer Competitive salary, adapted to the duration and complexity of the assignment Travel and accommodation covered by the hospital Flexible assignment periods from 3 months to 3 years Valuable international experience in a modern European healthcare institution Opportunity to combine work with new cultural experiences, also for potential family Who are you?
