We are seeking experienced general practitioners and specialists in general medicine for assignments in Iceland. Here you will have a varied working day with ordinary GP tasks combined with on-call shifts, and the opportunity to experience fantastic Iceland over a slightly longer period.

About the position

As a general practitioner, you will work with ordinary GP tasks combined with on-call shifts. You will meet patients of all ages and have a varied clinical working day with a wide spectrum of issues within general medicine.

The work provides good opportunities to use and further develop your clinical experience, while simultaneously becoming acquainted with another Nordic healthcare system and gaining experience from working in a new country.

The tasks include, among other things: GP work On-call shifts according to the current scheme Investigation, treatment, and follow-up of patients Collaboration with other healthcare personnel and the specialist healthcare service Medical record keeping and other administrative medical work Contributing to good and safe patient pathways Why Iceland?
