Role Description The Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and DevOps Trainer based in Ikorodu, Lagos is a full-time, on-site role responsible for delivering high-quality training to learners in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. The trainer will design and update course materials, create hands-on labs, and facilitate practical projects that reflect real-world scenarios. Daily tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, providing individualized feedback, and supporting learners in building job-ready portfolios. The role also involves collaborating with the training team to improve curriculum, staying current with industry trends and certifications, and contributing to workshops, bootcamps, and career support initiatives. Requirements

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including security best practices, risk management, and compliance awareness.
• Candidates should possess practical expertise in Network Security and Application Security, including securing infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of modern Cyber defense techniques, threat detection, and incident response workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) is highly beneficial.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CCSP, AWS/Azure security certifications) are an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centered approach.
• Ability to design project-based learning experiences and evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
