This role sits at theintersection of business processes, information management, data standards, anddigital delivery—shaping how project, design, construction, asset, andoperational information flows through platform-enabled CDEs across the assetlifecycle. You will work across multiple client projects, aligningdiverse stakeholder needs and operating models into structured, governed, traceable, and reusable information workflows. Key Responsibilities Analyse and document end-to-end processes spanning: Planning, design, construction, project delivery, handover, asset management, and operations
Define and maintain CDE information workflows, including: Governance controls, roles/responsibilities, and data ownership models across the asset lifecycle
Establish information management requirements, including: Naming conventions, metadata standards, classification structures, approval states, retention rules, and lifecycle workflows
Translate operational and information management needs into: Digital workflows and platform requirements across CDE and construction technology solutions
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across: Business, project teams, consultants, contractors, technical teams, and operations to align information exchanges and governance expectations
Map current and future-state information flows to identify: Handoff gaps, duplication, manual workarounds, and opportunities to improve data quality and reuse
Develop delivery-ready artefacts, including: User stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process models, information exchange requirements, and traceability documentation
Support Product Owners / Product Managers with: Backlog refinement, prioritisation, dependency management, and delivery planning across multiple client engagements
Collaborate with architects, engineers, platform teams, and vendors to: Validate feasibility, integration needs, and alignment to enterprise data/technology standards
Support testing, adoption, and continuous improvement by: Defining business scenarios, validating configured workflows, and monitoring operational outcomes
Required Skills & Experience Practical experience defining or improving: CDE processes, information workflows, governance models, or digital delivery practices in the built environment
Strong understanding of how project and asset information is: Created, reviewed, approved, exchanged, handed over, and maintained across lifecycle stages
Ability to document complex processes using: Process flows, swimlane diagrams, information flow maps, data models, or equivalent techniques
Experience translating business/operational needs into: User stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementable workflow specifications
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills across: Business users, project teams, consultants, contractors, and technical specialists
Good understanding of information governance, including: Metadata, data ownership, quality controls, auditability, and traceability
Experience supporting iterative delivery in: Agile or product-oriented environments
Strong analytical and communication skills to explain: Information management concepts and delivery trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable working across: Business, construction, operations, information management, and technology domains in complex stakeholder environments
Preferred Skills Hands-on familiarity with one or more CDE/BIM/construction collaboration platforms (e.g., Autodesk, Nemetschek, LeapThought) Working knowledge of CDE principles and ISO 19650 concepts (e.g., information requirements, status/revision/suitability, approval workflows) Experience in construction, property development, facilities management, asset operations, or the wider built environment Familiarity with BIM, digital engineering, model/document coordination, and project-to-operations information handover Experience with business process modelling, service design, data mapping, or process improvement methods Understanding of systems integration, master data, APIs, reporting, or analytics within enterprise information ecosystems Familiarity with product delivery tools/methodologies (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Scrum, Kanban) Exposure to enterprise transformation, governance, compliance, or large-scale digitalisation initiatives across different client environments What Success Looks Like Project, construction, handover, and operational information moves consistently across lifecycle stages with minimal rework or loss of context CDE governance, standards, ownership, and approval workflows are clearly understood and adopted across client stakeholders Business and information workflows are clearly documented, validated, and translated into scalable digital processes Data quality, completeness, traceability, and reuse improve across client products and CDE ecosystems Delivery teams have clear, testable requirements aligned to operational outcomes and information governance obligations Stakeholders spend less time resolving ambiguity, locating information, or reconciling inconsistent processes/data Ideal Candidate Profile Process-oriented analyst who treats the “product” as the information lifecycle enabled through the platform—not just the software Able to move between construction delivery, asset operations, information governance, and digital product teams Strong at uncovering ownership, standards, and handoffs, and converting complex operational practices into scalable CDE workflows
