BIM Coordinator

JobDescription & Requirements:

Thecandidate will be based on-site at the project in Singapore and is expected tobe detail-oriented with extensive previous experience working as a BIMcoordinator and/or manager. The candidate must have excellent communicationskills and be able to relate to and connect with the team, subcontractors ofall tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/herability.

JobScope:

• Createand manage 3D/4D/5D BIM models and implementations for civil & road(linear) infrastructure projects.
• Coordinatemultidisciplinary teams across Civil & Structural (C&S), Architecture(Archi), and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to resolve clashes andoptimize road alignment.
• Coordinatewith BIM teams (both on-site and off-site) to fulfil the project deliverable.
• Implementclient’s Employer Information Requirement (EIR) BIM standards andcompany-specific protocols. Validate models against as-built surveys andgeotechnical reports.
• LeadBIM coordination meetings with contractors, designers, Generate clash detectionreports, 4D construction schedules, and progress dashboards.
• Assistin managing BIM standards, resources, and application configuration
• Assistin developing, implementing, maintaining and updating the project BEPprogressively, including BIM objectives, workflow, MIDP, etc.
• Maintainand manage data on the CDE platform and facilitate coordination among allproject stakeholders via the CDE platform.
• Integrationof BIM into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction(VDC) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
• Generateclash reports for all disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP and process)and lead BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants
• Involvein multidisciplinary Coordination, including Phase Planning (4D), CostEstimating (5D) and Asset Management (6D)
• Attendsite coordination meeting when required
• Helpdeskfor BIM issues

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in civil Engineering, SpecialistDiploma in BIM would be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years in BIM coordination, preferably inconstruction/engineering sector
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Linear modellingsoftware such as Bentley Suites OpenBuildings, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, AutodeskRevit, ACC (Autodesk Forma), AutoCAD, Navisworks and other similar BIMsoftware.
• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge inBIM management as well as construction management will be an advantage for thispost.
• Good knowledge in BIM visualisation and simulationapplications.
• Strong organisational, administrative andinterpersonal skills;
• Self-driven, resourceful and a team player
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
• Able to communicate with our Chinese counterparts, orhave experience in handling thermal power plant projects will be a bonus
