*Job Summary*
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment on construction and excavation job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

- Site development
- Water and sewer installation
- Culvert repair and replacement
- Septic system installation
- Leaky basement repairs
- Trucking, bulldozing, and excavation
- Hydrovac services
*Key Responsibilities*
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and skid steers on various job sites
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling according to project requirements
- Safely work around underground utilities and follow all locates and site plans
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and regulations
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members
- Assist with general labour duties when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites
*Qualifications and Requirements*
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or excavation
- Strong understanding of excavation practices, grading, and site preparation
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grades (asset)
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures and job site safety standards
- Experience working around utilities and following locates
- Valid driver?s license (AZ or DZ considered an asset)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
