Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Command Posts/ Tactical Operation Centers (Engineer - Applied Mechanics)

How you contribute to our success:

• Your spectrum of activities includes the development of command posts in the field of ground-based air defense.
• In doing so, you define the behavior and structure of the command posts and their subsystems, from requirements analysis through preliminary design to verification.
• You generate concepts for various relevant functionalities such as time synchronization, Built-in Testability, Data Logging, navigation, or software maintenance and modification, and are responsible for creating the corresponding specifications. In doing so, you take into account aspects of product and information security, among others.
• You lead interdisciplinary teams in processing complex development tasks.
• Support in communication with customers and in the supervision of subcontractors rounds off your diverse area of responsibility.

What you bring to our team:

• Your Master's/Diploma studies (Uni/TH) in an engineering discipline, natural science, or a related field, e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, forms the ideal prerequisite for this position.
• You convince through in-depth knowledge in the requirements specification of systems or the development of system architectures.
• Furthermore, you can demonstrate experience in the definition and realization of complex technical systems and feel confident in using methods and tools of Systems Engineering.
• Ideally, you also already possess experience and knowledge in the areas of information security, emission security, product security, testability, or maintainability.
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work characterizes you as much as your ability to think in complex systems and contexts. You enjoy working in a team and have good English skills.
