Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for Air Defense Systems (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• As a Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop the system design of modern short-range ground-based air defense systems with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists.
• In doing so, you will accompany the entire development phase of a complex system, from definition to verification, and act as a link between the various technical disciplines.
• You are specifically responsible for the development and management of requirements and proofs for the system to be developed, as well as the development of the system architecture.
• You are the driving force within the team for solving interdisciplinary problems. Your technical breadth enables you to moderate the dialogue between the contributing disciplines and to work out and weigh suitable solutions.
• Furthermore, you will support communication with the customer and provide technical support to subcontractors, also on an international level. You ensure the quality of your work through the use of modern and model-based methods and tools.

What you bring with you:

• A prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed degree (Uni/TH) in an engineering science, e.g., Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience in the field of system design - preferably in the area of military systems. Specialist knowledge in the areas of ground-based air defense or transportability makes you additionally interesting to us.
• You are enthusiastic about complex large-scale technical systems and have the ability to abstract functionally and think in complex contexts. You are open to accepting new challenges and developing high-performance products.
• You already bring experience in dealing with the methods of Systems Engineering for complex systems. Ideally, you have been able to acquire knowledge in using tools such as Enterprise Architect or DOORS NG.
• Finally, you have good written and spoken English skills and are prepared to apply them in an international environment.
