Systems Engineer for Protection Systems (m/f/d) (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• As a Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop the system design of modern air defense systems together with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists.
• You will accompany the entire development phase of a complex system, from definition to verification, acting as the link between the various technical disciplines.
• You are particularly responsible for the development and management of requirements and proofs for the system to be developed, as well as the development of the system architecture.
• You are the driving force within the team for solving interdisciplinary problems. Your technical breadth enables you to moderate the dialogue between the contributing disciplines and to work out and weigh suitable solutions.
• In addition, you will support communication with the customer and provide technical support to subcontractors.

What you bring with you:

• A prerequisite for this position is your completed degree (Uni/TH) in an engineering science, e.g., Systems Engineering, Luft- & Raumfahrttechnik, Maschinenbau, Software Engineering.
• Ideally, you bring professional experience in the field of system design – preferably with military systems.
• You are enthusiastic about complex large-scale technical systems and have the ability to abstract functionally and think in complex contexts.
• You already possess knowledge in using Systems Engineering methods for complex systems and have experience using tools such as Enterprise Architect and DOORS NG.
• Finally, you have good written and spoken English skills.
