System Architect (m/f/d) for Air Defense Systems (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• As a System Architect (m/f/d), you will develop the system design of modern short-range ground-based air defense systems with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists using MBSE methods.
• You are specifically responsible for the development and management of the system architecture at the overall system level. In doing so, you accompany the entire creation phase of a complex system, from definition to verification, and act as a link between the various technical disciplines.
• You contribute decisively to interdisciplinary problem-solving by – with a holistic view – driving, supporting, and documenting the solution-finding process from an architectural perspective.
• Your technical breadth enables you to moderate the dialogue between the contributing disciplines and subsystems and to work out suitable solutions.
• Furthermore, you support the further development of methods and working styles in the field of Model Based Systems Engineering.

What you bring with you:

• A prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed degree (Uni/TH) in an engineering science, e.g., Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• You have experience in the field of MBSE, and systematic development according to Systems Engineering methods is a matter of course for you. Technical knowledge or professional experience in the areas of ground-based air defense, command and control systems, radar systems, or guided missiles makes you additionally interesting to us.
• You are enthusiastic about complex large-scale technical systems and have the ability to abstract functionally and think in complex contexts. You are open to accepting new challenges as well as developing high-performance products.
• Ideally, you have already been able to acquire knowledge in handling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Finally, you have good written and spoken English skills and are ready to apply them in an international environment.
