Supplier Quality Manager (m/f/d) Mechanical Components (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• You will take responsibility for Supplier Quality Management for mechanical components (turned and milled parts with medium to high complexity incl. heat treatment) as well as welded assemblies.
• You will initiate, coordinate, and accompany measurement alignments as an interface between the supplier and our measurement technology department, thereby ensuring the comparability and reproducibility of the measurement results.
• The evaluation of first samples according to EN 9102 as well as manufacturing and testing processes at the supplier are also part of your area of responsibility.
• In the event of problems in the manufacturing and testing processes at suppliers, you will accompany the problem analysis as well as the definition and implementation of corrective actions by the supplier.
• Your tasks include the planning, execution, and documentation of system and process audits as well as the acceptance of delivered items at suppliers.

What you bring with you:

• You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study, or you have another corresponding qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman) with several years of specialist professional experience.
• You are familiar with working with colleagues in cross-functional teams and dealing with suppliers.
• You can skillfully use your business-fluent English skills.
• Additionally, you are willing to undertake regular national and international business trips.
