Strategic Procurement Manager (m/f/d) Global Sourcing & Market Intelligence (Industrial Engineer)

These are your tasks:

• In this key role, you will take responsibility in strategic procurement for the international further development and stabilization of our supplier base as well as the opening up of new procurement markets.
• This includes the identification, evaluation, and establishment of new suppliers worldwide to ensure quality, innovation, and security of supply, including conducting potential analyses and performance evaluations to identify suitable suppliers for future strategic partnerships.
• You will analyze global procurement markets, trends, and competitive landscapes to derive strategic purchasing decisions and undertake the systematic identification of regions with high potential for cost optimization, innovation, or risk diversification.
• Furthermore, you are the central contact person (m/f/d) for all Offset procurement processes and the associated search for suitable suppliers.
• Close coordination with the product division, quality assurance, and Direct Procurement until the handover of new qualified suppliers (Audit, FAI, ramp-up) to series production support is just as much a part of your exciting area of responsibility as the development and preparation of negotiation concepts for large sourcing processes.

What you bring to the role:

• The ideal prerequisite for this position is a completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable, which you have supplemented with at least 5 years of professional experience in strategic or international procurement, ideally in an industrial or technology company.
• You bring a strong sense for international markets and possess sound experience in strategic procurement and supplier development.
• Very good written and spoken English skills are required; additional language skills are an advantage.
• You can also convince us through your analytical thinking skills, intercultural competence, and a high willingness to travel.
