These are your tasks:
- As a process, method, and tool developer in the complex topic of "Product Lifecycle Management" (PLM), you ensure the detailed elaboration and coordination of methods and working methods derived from processes, as well as their implementation in the applied tools. In doing so, you pursue the goal of constantly optimizing and further developing the working environment for all areas.
- With a focus on Configuration Management processes and their interface to System Engineering (Requirements Engineering, Architecture, Testmanagement, Change Process...), you ensure that the information and data flows are optimally designed for all subsequent disciplines. Additionally, you support the processes of Central Component and Obsolescence Management as well as central Data Governance.
- You are part of complex cross-disciplinary optimization projects and take over their definition, planning, and management if required.
- You analyze suitable tools for defined purposes of use and ensure their maintenance and further development in close cooperation with IT.
- You create the required documentation for all developed activities, methods, working methods, and tools that fall within the responsibility of Configuration Management. Additionally, you develop training for processes, methods, and tools, conduct them, and support projects and project employees in their application.
What you bring to the role:
- You have a completed university degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Defense Technology, or a comparable course of study.
- You bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of process and Configuration Management.
- Furthermore, you possess excellent specialist knowledge in relevant norms, standards, and tools in System Engineering and Configuration Management, including Software Configuration Management, as well as several years of experience in their implementation and integration into an existing company.
- Ideally, you have experience in the introduction and maintenance of ELM or PLM systems (e.g., DOORS NG, 3DExperience) and Data Governance frameworks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, strong methodological and presentation competence, as well as high assertiveness are a matter of course for you.
- A committed, independent, and accurate way of working, a high willingness to travel, as well as very good written and spoken English skills, round off your profile.
