Project Manager (m/f/d) Air Force Systems IRIS-T SLX (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• In this position, you will take over the leadership of the system elements or the data link subsystem of the IRIS-T SLX guided missile.
• Additionally, you will support and, if necessary, represent the Project Manager of the overall guided missile.
• In doing so, you will coordinate the project teams regarding technical matters and support the subsystem Project Managers in subcontractor management at a national and/or international level.
• Furthermore, you are responsible for the timely and cost-effective implementation of the (sub-)projects and orders in your area.
• Detailed coordination with the other Project Managers of the guided missile family, the Logistic Support department, development, and production rounds off your varied field of activity.

This is what you bring to the role:

• Your completed studies in the field of engineering, aerospace engineering, or computer science form the ideal prerequisite. Alternatively, you have vocational training in a technical field and several years of professional experience.
• You should already have professional experience in project and/or process management and, ideally, you are familiar with the guided missile programs IRIS-T SLM and SLX.
• In addition to your enjoyment of contact with external partners, you will convince us with fluent English skills in speaking and writing.
• You can use your open-minded nature and your communication skills profitably when working with colleagues.
• High initiative and motivation, as well as your willingness to travel, round off your profile.
