IT DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Software Development (Computer Scientist)

These are your tasks:

• In this position, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, further development, and maintenance of software-based DevOps solutions for product-related software development.
• This specifically includes the following activities in a Linux-based environment: Scripting, Automation, Code Versioning, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Job Scheduling, and Code Analyzing.
• The analysis, conception, and provision of future-proof applications and systems in software development, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, and OpenShift, is part of your spectrum of tasks, as is the evaluation and co-design of software engineering processes.
• You ensure the operation and continuous improvement of the software toolchain in product or software development in order to provide the best possible environment for our development teams.
• Coordinating operating concepts, agreeing upon and monitoring Service Levels, and translating them into requirements for the IT infrastructure is also your contribution to our mutual success.

What you bring to the role:

• Your completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable forms the ideal prerequisite for this position.
• You have several years of professional experience in the Linux environment and software development, including with scripting languages such as Python.
• You demonstrate a willingness to take on professional responsibility and have experience in leading IT projects.
• You enjoy applying your communication and coordination skills at the interface between our development teams and IT.
• Good English skills for communication with software or platform suppliers and international exchange round off your profile.
