Development Engineer (m/f/d) (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

These are your tasks:

• You create and review innovative product concepts, partly based on a previous feasibility analysis.
• You are also responsible for the development of complex and innovative design solutions according to the state of the art, taking into account functional, material, and manufacturing technology as well as economic aspects, including coordination with project managers, customers, and other specialist departments.
• You are responsible for technical consulting within the framework of design reviews as well as for the processing and guidance for the creation of product documentation. Collaborating on and creating FMEA, FMECA, S&R, as well as FTA is also part of your task.
• You apply project management techniques, such as hazard analysis, work package planning, and controlling, when performing design tasks.
• Furthermore, you support the realization and testing of concepts up to series production readiness, including guidance for prototype production and participation in testing functions.

What you bring with you:

• The ideal prerequisite is a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of Maschinenbau with subsequent several years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the defense industry or precision engineering.
• You have very good knowledge of 3D-CAD systems and in handling quality programs, as well as in the field of static structural mechanics via simulation.
• You bring very good English skills in speaking and writing.
• Creativity, analytical thinking skills, as well as a confident appearance and a high degree of goal orientation characterize you.
