Finance Manager

We are looking for a meticulous and reliable finance professional to oversee our finance team and manage the insurance business’s daily financial operations, accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timely closing and regulatory compliance. Why Join Us: Build your career with an established automotive group Lead a finance team and strengthen your leadership and people management skills Gain broad exposure to insurance accounting, financial operations and management reporting Work closely with management and contribute to process improvements and business growth Enjoy a convenient work location near Ubi MRT station Core Responsibilities: Monitor daily cash balances, receipts, refunds, cheque payments and disbursements Record and reconcile premiums, commissions, cancellations, refunds and payments to insurers, sub-agents and referral partners Monitor AR/AP balances, follow up on overdue debts and ensure timely payments Oversee monthly closing, journal entries, intercompany billing and financial statements Perform bank and account reconciliations with insurers, customers, dealers and intercompany entities Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements Coordinate year-end closing and prepare audit schedules Review transactions and master data to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures Prepare weekly and monthly financial and AR/AP reports, highlighting key issues and outstanding balances Job Requirements: Degree in accounting or equivalent with at least3 years of relevant accounting experience Good working attitude Sense of responsibility, self-motivated, initiative and resourceful Experience in motor insurance will be an added advantage Well versed in Microsoft Excel Able to work under tight deadlines
