Forwarding officer Eindhoven

As a Forwarding Officer in Eindhoven, you will work full-time at a leading logistics organization. You are responsible for booking and handling international shipments. You work from Monday to Friday in two shifts. You ensure that everything is administratively correct and have a lot of contact with drivers and customers, which makes this job varied and dynamic.

You start your day by processing incoming trips from drivers and booking new shipments in the system. You schedule pick-up and delivery appointments and assist drivers who come to collect or drop off their trip overviews. You maintain an overview in the administration and handle customs matters neatly. You work with Word and Excel and learn new systems quickly. Daily, you have contact with international drivers and colleagues, so speaking English is important.

During your shift, you and your colleagues ensure that all packages arrive on time and in the right place. You load and unload trucks, sort packages by postcode and destination, and scan the shipments. You also help to keep the warehouse neat and safe. You work from Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 to 11:30 AM and on Monday from 7:30 to 11:00 AM. So, you are always finished with work early!
