Purchasing and Import Analyst

Requirements and knowledge:

• Intermediate–advanced English.
• Experience in national and international purchasing.
• Knowledge of import processes and foreign trade.
• Management and development of suppliers.
• Negotiation and analysis of quotations.
• Proficiency in Excel and preparation of reports.
• Knowledge of import documentation and logistical tracking.
• Ecuapass

Main responsibilities:

• Manage purchase requirements from different areas.
• Request, analyze, and compare quotations.
• Search for, evaluate, and onboard new national and international suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and perform follow-up until reception.
• Coordinate and follow up on import processes.
• Control delivery times, costs, and negotiated conditions.
• Keep the supplier database updated.
• Support the periodic evaluation of suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for savings and optimization of purchases.
• Prepare indicators and process reports.
