The position:

Join a major house in the luxury and beauty products sector as a technical PIM Consultant. You will contribute to the optimization of product information management processes and play a key role in data governance and quality within a structuring PIM platform.

Reporting to the PIM Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product data across different countries, instances, and channels. You will operate in a complex and matrixed technical environment, where data quality directly conditions operational efficiency and commercial performance. The mission is part of a continuous improvement logic for the platform and is based on an agile and collaborative methodology.

You will lead cross-functional projects involving data migration, tool integration, performance optimization, and automation of business processes. Your role will also be to ensure knowledge transfer to business and technical teams, by proposing operational solutions adapted to the group's commercial and IT challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical expertise on the Salsify PIM platform and ensure support for end users
• Design and implement data governance and quality rules, in alignment with group standards
• Plan and execute data migration and integration projects between systems (ERP, e-commerce, DAM)
• Optimize PIM platform performance and automate repetitive processes via scripts and macros
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and analyze KPIs related to syndication and data quality
• Support and train business teams in using the platform and in data management best practices
• Participate in identifying areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions, notably by exploring opportunities related to artificial intelligence

Remote work: 3 days on-site per week (100% presence desired during the onboarding phase) Location: Paris

Profile sought:

Indispensable:

• Advanced mastery of SQL for querying and manipulating complex data
• Excel expertise including VBA macro development and data model optimization
• Mastery of PowerPoint for creating professional presentations and communicating results
• Significant experience in project management, ideally in complex and matrixed environments
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to break down complex issues and propose structured solutions
• Professional English (written and oral), necessary to collaborate with international teams
• Training in computer engineering, data, or an equivalent field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience on projects related to data management and governance

Highly appreciated:

• Proven experience with PIM/MDM solutions, particularly Salsify
• Skills in Business Intelligence and reporting (BI tools, dynamic dashboards)
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and GenAI applied to data management
• Familiarity with PIM, DAM, e-commerce ecosystems and their integration
• Experience in the luxury, beauty, or e-commerce sectors
• Sensitivity to data quality and IT governance
• Ability to document processes and create training materials
