Logistics Administrator for DFDS Logistics Contracts in Arendal

About the position We are looking for someone who wants to work with logistics administration and logistics planning at DFDS. The position may involve varying tasks related to the terminal's logistics. Examples of tasks may include the administration of transports, investigation of deviations, preparation of loading lists, and planning of loadings.

You will work full-time, and the work is divided between both daytime and evening shifts, so your availability is crucial to cover the needs at the terminal. Working hours vary, distributed on weekdays day/evening between 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00. The workplace is located at DFDS Logistics Contracts in Arendal. About you

Has relevant education or experience within logistics.

Enjoys administrative tasks and has good computer skills.

Is thorough and solution-oriented.

Has an aptitude for planning and following up on work in a structured manner.

Is comfortable maintaining a close dialogue with both customers and employees.

Proactive, decisive, and ensures that activities are executed and completed.

Expresses yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

This position is a fixed-term employment and is planned to continue until the turn of the year. Mobile Consultant: You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work on-site with our customers. Being a mobile consultant means that you are employed by us, DFDS Professionals, to perform work at customer companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may thus vary within an agreed service area. Selection takes place continuously, and appointment may occur before the final application date. We naturally have collective agreements.
